The soft hum of the clinic faded into the background as the doctor’s words pierced through Haseena’s mind like a cold gust of wind.
doctor : “mrs Singh apka baby toh safe aur healthy hai aur iss fever se uspar koi asar nahi padega— par ye apki health ke liye theek nahi hai apko bohtt weakness hojayegi. apki jan ko bhi khatra hosakta hai delivery ke waqt. apke pati apka khyal toh rakhte hai na? apki tabiyat theek nahi hai phir bhi aj wo apke saath nahi aaye!!”
